The in-form STINTINO SUNSET should take a lot of beating here. This Twilight Son filly impressed getting back to winning ways at Chelmsford in November and was back to form beaten less than a length at Kempton earlier this month. She was given a patient ride and did all her best work late. The fourth Optik has won twice since and the fifth Distinction has also won so the form has a really strong look to it. She is far from exposed at this trip so if improving again should have these covered. Explorers Way didn’t have the best passage through last time and could emerge as the main danger.

It was good to see DUE DATE finally get his head in front at Chelmsford last time. He had run some good races in defeat and deserved to get a win to his name. He carries a penalty but given the speed he showed he should be suited by the cut back to the minimum trip and I think he’ll take a lot of stopping. Admirable Lad only went down a length and a half following a wind op at Wolverhampton last time and could be the danger if stepping forward from that again. Toplight could only finish midfield last time but was only beaten a length and a half so he is another one who could get competitive.
