He runs off the same mark moving back up to a mile and should be the one to beat under Tom Eaves. Little Ted has won over C&D in the past and was a good second to Pallas Lord last time so could be the danger if building on that but he does lack consistency. Concert Boy is another one in with a chance if better placed this time.

The improving BRAVE THOUGHT has been knocking on the door recently and she ran a big race in defeat again last month beaten less than a length into second. She has further progress to come especially over this trip and off just a 1lb higher mark should be able to open her account now. I’m surprised she has been a touch easy to back as her claims look crystal clear to me. Maura’s Gift has won over C&D in the past and she has been beaten less than a length on both of her last two runs. Another run like that would see her bang there and she is the danger. At a bigger price Chica Linda could run well and might be able to hit the frame.
