After a promising run behind the useful looking Picks Lad O’CONNELL improved again to win impressively at Market Rasen on penultimate start. He kept on strongly to beat a good yardstick in Mixedwave and the form has been franked since with the latter winning easily at Huntingdon next time out. Not much went right last time where he just seemed to race a bit lazily off the pace before making mistakes when trying to stay on. He did run on well before being held in the closing stages. He was only beaten a length though and back down in trip should be a lot happier here. If putting in a slicker round of jumping he is the most likely winner of this. Super Survivor was pulled up at Chepstow but remains unexposed and could still be the danger.
