The main danger is Arctic Thunder, who may have failed to justify favouritism on his debut at Lingfield but he could improve for the step up in distance with that experience under his belt. Any market confidence behind King David would also be of interest.

Desert Swirl was beaten into sixth in a classified event over an extended mile at Wolverhampton last time and could have a say back in handicap company, while Rossa Ryan is an eye-catching booking on He's Our Star.

Course winner Kondratiev Wave returns to the all-weather off a reduced rating and the seven-year-old is dangerous to discount on his reappearance, while any market support for his stablemate Teah would be interesting, on this, her handicap bow.
