The Night Of Thunder colt looks sure to progressive for his lofty connections, and he is preferred to Tourist, who has shown more than enough recently to suggest he'll be involved. Only In Jakarta hasn't been seen since finishing second at Thirsk in August, but he sets the standard on official ratings and must enter the reckoning.

The son of Kyllachy now has a 1lb lower rating to contend with and he should be bang there. The main danger is Wee Fat Mac, who is in very solid form of late and wasn't entirely disgraced in fourth at Southwell last month, so he could get involved off the same rating. Brownlee completes the shortlist in a first-time hood.

DIRE WOLF may have only secured victory by just over a length at Lingfield last week, but the winning margin underestimates the superiority over her rivals that day and she now has a 6lb penalty to shoulder. The daughter of Showcasing is unlikely to have any issues with the drop in distance and can go in again. Last-time-out winner Good Morning Alex warrants plenty of respect and should go well off a 4lb higher rating, while Likleman is worth monitoring in the betting on his first start for the Simon West yard.

Ring Fenced finished third in a class 4 event at Southwell last time and takes a drop in grade, so is worth a second look. Of the remainder, last-time-out winner Panama City is of most interest.

STAR ZINC bounced back to form after two below-par efforts to fill the runner-up spot in this grade at Southwell on his latest outing and he is 1lb higher for that display. The five-year-old is a late finisher and could get back on the scoresheet to record his third career success. The main threat is Jahidin, who was denied by two lengths into third over 7f at Wolverhampton last time and could get involved stepping up to a mile for the first time. Swiss Ace hit the frame over C&D last week and is another to note.
