I’m siding with the most unexposed horse in the race here in the shape of RASCAL for Tom George. He raced freely when down the field on debut in a bumper at Stratford but ran much better when third on debut over hurdles at Warwick off the back of a break. Given time again he returned with a win at Doncaster and impressed with how he came through before idling in the closing stages.

This step up in trip looks ideal now switched to handicaps and he could be one to keep on side. Raymond Tusk is a useful type on the Flat and he has shown ability over hurdles but he’ll need to be at his best to win this. Tregele wasn’t disgraced at Taunton behind Fiercely Proud and he is another one I expect to get competitive.
