When HORN CAPE is on song he is a pretty smart horse and the way he cruised to victory at Newcastle last month was impressive. He showed he can find off the bridle too when winning over C&D back in November and up 4lb for that recent win I still thin he might have a bit in the locker so he could make it 3 wins from his last 4 here. I think the harder they go the better for him and with the likes of Inferno Sacree, Barrichello and even Coup De Coeur all likely pushing the pace this could pan out perfectly. In terms of a danger I think it is probably Moonlight Glory who was back to form when second here last time and a repeat would likely see her involved.

I’m surprised at how weak JUST A SPARK is in the betting this morning. This filly by Bungle Inthejungle was right back to her best running on well over C&D at the start of the month. She beat an in-form horse in Intervention and hit the line hard under Gina Mangan. She takes the ride again and claims a handy 3lb and if in the same form up 5lb I think she could be decent value to beat these again. She was always up with the pace last time so hopefully similar tactics are applied again. Intervention opposes again and shouldn’t be far away and Exalted Angel is also respected as he is better than what he has showed recently and this is easier.
