This looks an obvious chance for BIOLUMINESCENCE to open her account under Rules. She ran out an impressive winner on sole start in a point a couple of years back and has since finished runner-up in a bumper and then beaten just a length into second on hurdles debut last time. The step up to 2 and a half miles will bring about further improvement and I’m confident she is the one to beat. Mark Walsh has been riding out his skin recently too notching up 8 winners from just 20 rides in the past fortnight alone. Paggane ran well when second at Cork but the winner has been beaten since so the form has been given a knock slightly. She could still be the danger though.

I think this is winnable so WEWILLGOWITHPLANB should have a great chance. He ran out an impressive winner on chase debut at Fontwell and back over fences on return just shaped as though he would come on for the run. The better ground here will suit and given he remains unexposed if he improves again he should take a lot of beating. Guy is tough and likeable and could be the danger but he is still lugging a big weight so this won’t be easy and that’s why I’m swaying towards the selection who could be on an upward curve. Of the rest Wasthatok could be interesting now switching to fences on handicap debut so is probably worth a market check to see if there is any support.
