Switched to the Flat having initially been hurdling I was impressed with the way RUNNING THE GAME came out on top at this track earlier in the month. He travelled notably strong throughout the contest and just had to be angled out before coming with a strong run in the closing stages to win with plenty in hand. The front pair came 10 lengths clear from the rest and the field was well strung out. He goes handicapping now off a mark of 80 but that might still prove to be lenient with another furlong to tackle here as well. Ocean Heights improved to get his head in front here last month and wasn’t disgraced when third last time so looks the danger. God Of Thunder is another one who I can see getting competitive.
