GYTO Tuesday Notebook Double

I’m really keen on the unexposed MAJOR FORTUNE here for Dan and Harry Skelton. This horse hasn’t looked back since going up in trip winning cosily at Market Rasen over 2 and a half miles before improving again on first try beyond 3 miles at Hereford last month. He is a further 6lb higher here but almost certainly has more to come and is comfortably the most likely winner in my book. Barncroft was a good second at 14/1 at Uttoxeter last time and if building on that looks the biggest danger. Bampton Star is also worth a mention now sent handicapping following a layoff and a wind op so watch the market on that one. 

Five-time course winner CUSACK looks well placed to notch up another victory. This 6yo routed the opposition to win by 4 and a half lengths over a mile here at the start of the month and turned out quickly under a penalty could be set to follow up. If they go hard the drop back to 7f could prove ideal as he will hit the line hard. Enola Grey is another one that likes it here and while she has been well held the last twice it would be no surprise to see her bounce back with a big run and emerge as the danger. Leap Day only missed out a neck over C&D last month and is another one to note.
