Supasunrise has run well on his previous two starts but preference instead goes to AMALFI SKYLINE (best priced at 11/4) who has had the form from his previous run boosted since. The Pat Murphy trained five-year-old finished 6th on his chasing debut on his reappearance at Ludlow but progressed to win on his next start over this course and distance.

Amalfi Skyline beat Natty Night by 2 ¼ lengths and that rival has boosted the form by winning by 3 ¼ lengths next time off a 2lb higher mark. He is now rated 6lbs higher than when they met so Amalfi Skyline looks well handicapped off a 6lb higher mark and he should prove hard to beat.

The Charlie Longsdon trained ZESTFUL HOPE (best priced at 7/2) is 3/3 at Hereford in his career and bounced back to form last time when 2nd at Huntingdon. The seven-year-old won a maiden hurdle here in January 2022 before winning two handicap hurdles off marks of 107 and 113 since. He had been struggling so far this season dropping from a mark of 119 down to 107 before finishing 2nd at Huntingdon last time by ½ length. 

The handicapper has raised Zestful Hope 2lbs up to a mark of 109 which is fair and he still remains well handicapped on his previous form. The return to this track will suit and he can hopefully gain his fourth career success at this track.

This looks a weak 0-55 handicap and a chance is taken on CON TE PARTIRO (best priced at 9/4) on his handicap debut. The Richard Spencer trained three-year-old finished well beaten on all three of his starts last season over 5f and 6f but was clearly campaigned with handicaps in mind. 

Con Te Partiro is now stepped up in trip to a mile for this handicap debut, is now fitted with first time cheekpieces and has been gelded since his last run 91 days ago. Hollie Doyle takes over on board which is a positive and he looks certain to improve from his opening mark of 50.
