A convincing winner over C&D in a similar race last month, FARCEUR DU LARGE could have more to come on just his second start for the Jamie Snowden yard. C&D winner ANIMAL arrives here on the back of a highly-encouraging second in the Surrey National at Lingfield last month and he can race off the same rating here. Suzy Smith's gelding is in great heart and could be the one to beat. Hudson De Grugy returned from a 223-day break, after undergoing wind surgery, to finish a fair third over an extended 1m7f here last time and is an interesting contender taking a big step up in distance. Special Acceptance is worth a second look in first-time blinkers.

Titan Discovery has finished in the top two on each of his last three starts and is likely to be in contention once more, while Wal Buck's is an interesting contender on his handicap debut.
