GYTO Friday Notebook Double

It was good to see HERMES LE GRIS bounce back from the fall at Southwell. He was still moving best when coming down 2 out so surely would have won that day given the way he routed them at Huntingdon last time. He forged away to win by 7 lengths and has really taken his form up a few notches since joining this yard. He is completely unexposed back up in trip and should follow up despite a 7lb penalty. Mistymal was a good second on handicap debut at Southwell and that winner has since run well so a mere 2lb rise means he is the obvious danger. For Gina is another one to note despite being well held at Plumpton last month.

With 2 wins from her last 3 the unexposed BACK TOMORROW is expected to be hard to beat here. She cut through the pack to win readily at Southwell last month and despite a 4lb higher mark looks to have plenty going for her again here including a decent draw. She has only had 7 starts and just 4 in a handicap so there should be a fair bit more to come yet and Hollie Doyle was seen to good effect for this yard earlier in the week. Glamorous Express needs everything to drop right for him to win but he does have the ability off this mark and could be the danger. Sixties Chic has won over C&D in the past and is another to note back in trip here.
