Bar one blip INTHEWATERSIDE has looked seriously promising. He has improved with experience over hurdles and impressed with how he made all at Lingfield last month. He has plenty of scope and just kept finding more to fend off his rivals. He has gone up 8lb but there should be plenty more to come yet and I think he can follow up with both trainer and jockey red-hot right now. There is quite a bit of pace on so it will be interesting to see what tactics they deploy. I don’t think he has to lead if they go a good pace but he just needs to be kept focussed on the task in hand so don’t expect him to be far away if something else does go forward. Idy Wood still has considerable potential and could be the one to give him most to think about.
