The hat-trick chasing Pallas Lord is in the form of his life and has to be of interest now he reunited with Jason Hart, who guided the gelding to success over this C&D on his penultimate start. However, POP FAVORITE was well on top when beating him here last month and, 1lb better off at the weights, he's taken to confirm the form. Odd Socks Havana and Jems Bond can also get competitive.

ZACHARY did himself no favours by rearing at the start at Kempton last time and that second-placed effort can be marked up as a result. Notably a well-supported favourite that day, it's safe to assume the Charlie Johnston-trained gelding still has plenty to offer and is worth another chance. Desert Master is unexposed on the all-weather and warrants closer inspection on just his second start since being gelded. Smooth Silesie is also respected.

The relatively unexposed SOLRAY posted an authoritative victory over C&D when last seen in December, making it two wins from three starts at this track, and a 7lb rise may not be enough to stop Jane Chapple-Hyam's charge going in again. The Caltonian has improved beyond all recognition this winter and he rates as one for the shortlist, while Azure Angel won with more in hand than the winning margin suggests over 6f at Chelmsford last July.

Bluestone made late headway into fifth after being slowly away over 7f at Wolverhampton in December and, stepping up in trip with that experience under his belt, he should be able to make his presence felt for the in-form Charlie Johnston team. That said, It may pay to side with well-bred newcomer NO RETREAT to get off the mark at the first time of asking as he bids to repay some of his 1,200,000-euro price tag. Fellow debutant Superfluidity warrants respect and any positivity for him in the market should be noted.

ATLANTIC HEART posted a gallant effort when finishing fourth over C&D in blinkers earlier this month and, with the headgear retained here, she could be worth siding with in what looks a competitive affair. Noble Captain shaped as though a drop in trip would suit when weakening into third over 6f here last week and he may give the selection most to think about, while Street Life can make the frame if returning to the form which saw him land a similar C&D event on his penultimate start.

ROCKLEY POINT was second in a similar event over 5f at Chelmsford last week and it would be no surprise to see the veteran go one better here. That said, Sir Benedict was not disgraced in handicap company over C&D last time and should not be underestimated, while Joshua R and Sherdil are others who merit a place on the shortlist.

STRICTLY DREAMING had plenty in hand when winning over an extended mile at Wolverhampton on Saturday and Ian Williams' filly merits the utmost respect on the back of that performance. Marcello Si has won two of his last three starts and has to be of interest as a result, while Inexplicable and Mr Coco Bean are the pick of the remainder.
