I like the chances of WHERES THE CRUMPET here. This mare hasn’t exactly pulled down any trees but she has been showing much more recently going down narrowly over C&D last month and backing that up with two good runs since. She only went down a length up to a mile and a quarter last time and back down to a mile could finally make the breakthrough. This race lacks any real strength in depth so she won’t get many better opportunities to open her account. Stand Free was a head behind the selection last time but is a shorter price so looks poor value as she can pull hard too. Ledger might be a greater danger as he has won over C&D in the past but he does have a bit to prove in present form.
