Woodhooh is 10lbs clear of stablemate PACINI (best priced at 10/1) on ratings but the latter is interesting now fitted with first time cheekpieces in this race. The Gordon Elliott trained gelding was well beaten on his first two starts over hurdles at Punchestown before winning at Fairyhouse by 6 ½ lengths on heavy ground.

Pacini was slightly disappointing again in a rated hurdle here last time where he was outpaced at a crucial time of the race. The cheekpieces should mean he travel better for Sam Ewing in this race and he looks the one most likely to give Woodhooh a race. She is 5/5 over hurdles but only won by a neck on soft ground so the heavy ground would be a slight question mark for her and therefore I think she is worth taking on at the prices.

Pacini - 0.5pts e/w @ 10/1

This bumper will more than likely impact the Champion Bumper market and I feel it is a good opportunity for WINGMEN (best priced at 11/10) to remain unbeaten. The Gordon Elliott trained six-year-old was bought for £250,000 following an impressive 12 length victory in a PTP before winning easily over this course and distance in December by eight lengths on soft ground.

Wingmen raced keenly that day under Harry Swan who gave him a clever ride that day as he didn’t panic when Patrick Mullins applied pressure 2f out. He eased clear that day in the style of a smart performer and he should prove hard to beat in a field of previous winners.
