It was every yard a winning one for BALLYCOOSE on chase debut over 2 and a half miles here last month. That was an impressive enough display and given he won over 2 miles over hurdles the drop back in trip shouldn’t count against him. He is up 5lb but the form has been boosted since with the runner-up Travail D’orfevre chasing home Netywell and that rival has won again since so it all stacks up. Gardener has won 2 of his last 3 and looks the obvious danger despite a 4lb higher mark. Carcaci Castle is another one to note but he will need to improve to reverse form with the latter.

Sennockian will likely be popular here as he arrives chasing a hat-trick. He beat IPPOTHEOS a neck at Lingfield last time but the latter gets a 2lb swing in the weights and this track clearly suits him better with his sole career win coming at this track. He is unexposed over a mile and should improve again so looks good value to reverse that recent form. Sennockian is still the danger as he is lightly raced as well and is unbeaten over a mile albeit winning narrowly on both occasions. Of the rest Dr Foster lacks a run and Love Yours needs to bounce back as she was a bit flat when midfield at Newcastle last time.
