I know TAKE NO CHANCES was pulled up at Newbury last time but I don’t think she enjoyed the step up in trip and she didn’t jump well enough to get competitive. Her second to The Doyen Chief before that blip was promising and if she bounces back I think she’ll beat these. It looks winnable and she remains unexposed so the best is almost certainly still to come. Lily Luna was second to Meatloaf at Wincanton and then chased home Party Vibes and Dolly Delightful at that venue next time so looks the danger off the back of those runs. Marmalade Time is another mare in with a squeak.

A poor break probably cost IVASECRET following up at Chelmsford last time. He travelled strongly into it and only went down a head in a bunched finish. He impressed winning at Kempton prior to that so is clearly a horse thriving right now and connections seem to have found another decent opportunity here. Makeen was out of form when last seen at Newmarket but has been given plenty of time since and on his best form he could have a say but he usually needs his first start back. King Of York has been thereabouts recently too and is another one you can’t completely rule out.
