I know NIMBUS BOY hasn’t shown a great deal since winning at Hereford but such was the promise in that victory I still think he might be worth chancing here. Hopes are pinned on the step up in trip bringing about further improvement and I can certainly see it. He needs to leave that form at Market Rasen behind but he wasn’t disgraced and ran on well at the finish for fourth having looked outpaced. He has been dropped 1lb and still has potential off a mark of 95 with Ned Fox claiming 5lb off his back. The favourite Pipers Cross has proved frustrating finishing second on all 3 starts since joining this yard. That may leave Chauffeur Driven as a bigger danger as he remains unexposed at least.
