Twoshotsoftequila impressed winning as he liked at Catterick last month but his main dangers Dr Kananga made a couple of mistakes so he may have been a little flattered by that 9 length win. He has to carry a 7lb penalty here and this comes soon enough so he might just be worth taking on. I am going to take a chance on YOUR OWN STORY coming good again for Lucinda Russell. The yard are in good form and this horse goes well fresh. We haven’t seen him since finishing a good sixth in the Scottish Grand National and he is fairly treated off a mark of 127 here. Equus Dancer isn’t out of it either in an intriguing 3-runner race.

With both Lazy Sunday and Hunter Legend having taken a fall last time out it might be worth chancing VALIRANN GOLD to follow up that Fontwell win. He stayed on strongly in testing ground and ended up winning by 8 lengths at the line. He is up 6lb but back up in trip should suit and he might be the value here with questions over the market principals. Lazy Sunday is a mare I like and she will be the danger if bouncing back but she is a 10yo now and her strike rate isn’t amazing as she has spurned some good opportunities. Of the rest Has Troke is in form and might not be too far away either in a race more open than the betting is suggesting.
