Back at Kempton I’m expecting a big run from the likeable BIG R (tipped at 4/1) for Eve Johnson Houghton. This 4yo ran out an impressive winner over track and trip back in January and that looks decent form for the level. The horse he beat Back Tomorrow won at Southwell next time so the form has been given substance since. He is 6lb higher and has been beaten since but he only went down a couple of lengths at Wolverhampton and got caught wide which wouldn’t have helped. He is a lot better than that and should bounce back here and have a big say. Wake Up Harry is likely to go off fav and looks the danger but this is a better race and he is 3lb higher as well. Mccauley’s Tavern is also respected but has ground to make up with the selection.
