I thought that was a good run in defeat from CLOVIS BOY at Wetherby last time. It was his first try over 3 miles and he was given a very patient ride. In hindsight probably given too much to do but it looked an educational ride following a fall at this track the time before and he could easily take another big step forward now. He remains unexposed and with Derek Fox back in the saddle who rode him to success at Hexham earlier in the season he must have plenty going for him. This is competitive so there are a few dangers likely headed by Artic Mann who ran well when third to Curley Finger. Again he only went down narrowly here last time so should get competitive. Gypsey’s Secret also has obvious form claims.
