GYTO Sunday Notebook Double

The Mullins duo won’t be easy to overhaul but I am keen on BIOLUMINESCENCE following up that Punchestown win. She was a big eye-catcher going down just a length on hurdles debut at Navan and then improved to justify strong support at Punchestown when last seen. Her jumping can still improve but the engine is there and she kept on strongly away from the last to win with plenty in hand. The danger is probably A Penny A Hundred who chased home Jetara at Punchestown and then bumped into Jade De Grugy at Fairyhouse. She is also going the right way so should be able to make a race of it at least.

I have been really impressed with STOIC SYD the last twice and while he only prevailed by a neck at Kempton last month he was value for more than the winning margin there. He has gone up a further 5lb but back at this track where he was so impressive on penultimate start I fully expect him to complete the hat-trick. I know he is back a furlong in trip too but he showed good speed last time and looks a real improver at present. Ana Emaraaty also clocked a career best winning by a head at Newcastle last time and looks the danger despite carrying a penalty. Urban Dandy goes back up in trip and is also noted.
