I’m keeping the faith with CADELL here as I still don’t think we’ve seen the best of him. His win on hurdles debut was really promising and while he hasn’t quite kicked on since he was back to form to some extent when runner-up at Musselburgh last month. That form has substance too as the winner Ottizzini went close at Doncaster next time out in a Listed contest. He goes handicapping now off an opening mark of 123 and up in trip should be able to get himself back in the winners enclosure. Imperial Merlin fell over fences here last month and back over hurdles here off a 2lb lower mark might be the danger. Ned Tanner has a similar profile to the latter and is also in with a squeak.
