Bertie B broke his hurdling duck at Hereford but while he could have more to offer, ZONDA has that little bit more room for improvement. The Jonjo O'Neill-trained grey may not have seen out the best part of three miles at Ascot, and took a step forward when runner-up over an extended 2m5f at Wincanton. That proved he handles testing conditions and he can get off the mark. Big Blue Moon and Petty Cash will be happier back over timber, while El Saviour and J'habite En France are interesting handicap debutants.

Connections of ANTI BRIDGIE are going to be disappointed if their mare can't win a race like this. Sporting first-time cheekpieces and dropping back from 3m to a trip over which she enjoyed some success when hurdling, the seven-year-old is the highest rated in the field and represents a stable going great guns this season. She ticks all the right boxes and can strike for the first time over the larger obstacles at the main expense of Current Mood and Lime Drop.
