BILLYTHEREALBIGRED has switched stables since beating a subsequent winner by a neck on his handicap bow at Leicester, and the third, fourth and fifth have all completed doubles since so the form is excellent. With that in mind, Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero's new recruit can defy a measly 3lb rise, possibly at the chief expense of I'm Too Tired, who struggled on the level after registering a deserved Sedgefield success. Present Fair and Thankyourluckystar may fight it out for third.
Prediction : 1st Billytherealbigred 2nd Im Too Tired 3rd Present Fair

TACTICAL AFFAIR was part of the Andy and Gemma Brown dispersal sale last month and was snapped up for 62,000 euros. He showed a good level of form in Ireland and looks to have been found a nice opportunity to get off the mark at the first time of asking for Warren Greatrex. King Of Tara has shaped with plenty of promise in bumpers, making the frame on all three occasions, and is bred to be better over obstacles. Doyen Quest will find this tougher than the Taunton race he won.
Prediction : 1st Tactical Affair 2nd King Of Tara 3rd Doyen Quest

Bertie B broke his hurdling duck at Hereford but while he could have more to offer, ZONDA has that little bit more room for improvement. The Jonjo O'Neill-trained grey may not have seen out the best part of three miles at Ascot, and took a step forward when runner-up over an extended 2m5f at Wincanton. That proved he handles testing conditions and he can get off the mark. Big Blue Moon and Petty Cash will be happier back over timber, while El Saviour and J'habite En France are interesting handicap debutants.
Prediction : 1st Zonda 2nd Bertie B 3rd Big Blue Moon

Connections of ANTI BRIDGIE are going to be disappointed if their mare can't win a race like this. Sporting first-time cheekpieces and dropping back from 3m to a trip over which she enjoyed some success when hurdling, the seven-year-old is the highest rated in the field and represents a stable going great guns this season. She ticks all the right boxes and can strike for the first time over the larger obstacles at the main expense of Current Mood and Lime Drop.
Prediction : 1st Anti Bridgie 2nd Current Mood 3rd Lime Drop

SPORTING ACE has produced a couple of creditable efforts in defeat since his no-show in the Sussex National at Plumpton, and perhaps the refitting of cheekpieces has had something to do with that upturn in form. The handicapper has left him on 117 and it would come as no surprise if he got back in the winning groove. Bretney will likely prove popular following his deserved success at Sandown, while Glance From Clover is another expected to be bang there at the business end.
Prediction : 1st Sporting Ace 2nd Bretney 3rd Glance From Clover

A respectable third on heavy ground at Newbury last month, EQUINUS should be much better suited by these conditions and he may be able to bounce back to the form that saw him win comfortably at Aintree in October. My Bobby Dazzler must hold every chance if bouncing back to the form of his penultimate second at Cheltenham, while Bangor scorer Clondaw Royale is another to note on his handicap debut.
Prediction : 1st Equinus 2nd My Bobby Dazzler 3rd Clondaw Royale

A highly encouraging second on his Rules debut at Cheltenham in October, VALGRAND looks the one to beat if improving on that effort at a track where the stable boasts an excellent record. A 7lb penalty will make life tougher for Les's Destiny Star after he scored on debut at Doncaster, while Lightningupourdays is another open to improvement following a promising effort at Ludlow. Boston Boy and Chief Sunday look to be the pick of the newcomers.
Prediction : 1st Valgrand 2nd Less Destiny Star 3rd Boston Boy
