C&D winner MARCELLO SI could easily bounce back and take this. He had won 2 of his last 3 before finishing midfield last time and he had excuses too. His hood was removed late which meant he was slowly into stride and things just didn’t work out thereafter. Racing off the same mark in what looks like an easier race I expect him to take the beating and 3/1 at the time of writing does seem generous. I can see him going off short than that! The fact Locked N’ Loaded is second fav tells you about how weak this is as that horse is on a lengthy losing streak now. Jems Bond loves it here and looks a greater danger with the cheekpieces back on.

I’m really keen on CARGIN BHUI here. This son of Invincible Army left his debut run miles behind to win well at Wolverhampton back in January. That form hasn’t worked out too badly and he backed it up finishing an excellent second over 6f at Newcastle last time. The winner looks a nice horse and has since followed up and the third Quiet Resolve has also won since so it has substance. Even Sunblock who was down the field in eighth has a win to her name. He should have more to offer now sent handicapping and looks worth keeping on side. Torvar has won 3 of his last 4 and despite a career high mark could emerge as the main threat here.
