The cheekpieces helped VULTAR improve enough to make a winning handicap debut over 7f at this track when last seen back in November. He was good value for that win and a 4lb rise looks fair. He has been freshened up since and is obviously open to further improvement so I’m expecting him to follow up as long as the headgear works again. Nap Hand is also lightly raced and he was in good form when last seen knocking on the door twice over C&D. Desfondado was denied just a head over track and trip last month and is another one who is expected to get competitive at least.

With 4 seconds and 2 wins from her last 6 starts SIBYL CHARM must be the one to beat again here. She ran on well to prevail by a nose over 6f here at the start of the month and with the step back up to 7f in her favour she looks to have found the right race to try and follow up in despite carrying a penalty. I still think she can rate higher than her current mark and she looks the most likely winner granted things pan out favourably for her again. Prairie Falcon was a good third on final start and if fit enough on return with Hollie Doyle booked will be the danger. Sir Maxi likes it here and also has a squeak.
