With more rain falling on Cheltenham than anticipated I’m all over LIBBERTY HUNTER for the Grand Annual. He is a horse that has always been well regarded by his trainer Evan Williams and after taking a tumble on chase debut he hasn’t looked back winning impressively at Wincanton and then following up at this track back in January. He beat a good horse in Matata the last day and stayed on strongly. He has gone up 7lb but he will relish the good gallop they go here and he remains unexposed so could have plenty more in the tank yet. He travels so strongly so I can see him picking his way through up the hill. Harry Cobden is also an eye-catching booking. Plenty of dangers headed by Madara, Unexpected Party and possibly Dancing On My Own.
