I know BREEZE OF WIND failed to land the four-timer at Bangor last month but he bumped into the progressive Montgomery for Venetia Williams and that horse has followed up impressively since. He is only 1lb higher here and if the step up to this extreme trip brings about further improvement he should get back to winning ways. He looks like he gallops all day and he remains fairly light raced in this sphere. Destiny Is All goes well fresh and could run a big race but he is a 10yo now and might be vulnerable to younger legs in the closing stages. Onestepatatime has a squeak too on the best of her form but she has lacked consistency this season.

That was a very good run from SHALLOW on debut to finish second from a wide draw so it was good to see her make a winning reappearance over C&D last month. She made all the running that day and never really looked like getting caught. She’ll need to improve again now handicapping off a mark of 70 but I’d be surprised if she didn’t and given there is a lack of speed on she might even get a soft lead. If that happens I can’t see her getting caught. Thunder Flow improved to go down just a couple of lengths at Wolverhampton last month and if improving again on that looks the one to give the selection most to think about. Magic Fluke is also noted.
