GYTO's Notebook Double Pays 7/1
14:37 Newcastle
I have followed HORN CAPE for much of the season and she has been progressive winning 3 of her last 5. That was a career best winning over C&D 3 weeks ago and even up 8lb I think she can follow up. She’ll be ridden patiently again and will look to pick them off in the closing stages. Brentford Hope travelled strongly for much of the race at Newbury before finding Spring Note too good. He will be the danger if repeating that sort of form. Pay The Piper pulled up over fences at Haydock when last seen and is back over hurdles for the first time in a long time here so is quite interesting but has a bit to prove at the same time.

The money came for IL PINO on debut and he certainly didn’t disappoint bolting up by 5 and a half lengths. That was impressive and if this son of Coastal Path improves again then he should make it a perfect 2-2 here. There isn’t any obvious pace on either so he’ll go forward and will look to make all. Kamsinas will enjoy the ground and looks the danger back in calmer waters here after finishing down the field in the Betfair Hurdle. Of the rest Parade Away has some solid form in the book but at the same time he is more exposed so perhaps isn’t open to as much improvement as those mentioned.
