SILENT FLIGHT was value for further when opening his account over this distance at Punchestown last time out and a 9lb rise may not be enough to prevent the gelding from completing a double. Fellow in-form rival Maimie's Magic could emerge as the biggest danger if gaining an easy lead and the seven-year-old shouldn't be taken lightly. The reappearing Subset also makes some appeal on this switch to hurdles.

Golden Nugget improved on her handicap debut effort to finish a much better seventh at Navan in December, and she could progress again to get closer off an unchanged mark. However, the vote goes to STOCKDALE, who was dropped 1lb for her fifth at Navan last month. The eight-year-old filled the runner-up berth on her penultimate start over 2m1f here and she could be the one to beat if running to a similar level. Perfect Arch wasn't disgraced on his most recent outing at Fairyhouse and is capable of being in the mix.

This looks like an ideal opportunity for the talented CLASSIC GETAWAY to get back to winning ways, having been nabbed late on in a Grade 3 at Tramore on New Year's Day. Going back up in trip at this track should suit following his Leopardstown no-show and he is preferred to stablemate Adamantly Chosen and last year's winner Longhouse Poet, who looks to be taking this in again as a prep for the Grand National.

The suspicion is that NEVERADULLMOMENT was slightly stretched by the step up to 3m when finishing fourth at Navan last month. This step down in trip may see him end up in the winner's enclosure for his in-form stable. Joshua Webb has been running consistently well this season and, after an admirable second over 2m4f at Clonmel most recently, he can give the selection most to think about. The booking of Jack Kennedy aboard St Denis's Well catches the eye and he completes the shortlist.

Trainer David Christie has landed three of the previous four renewals of this contest and he is taken to enhance that record further with GLOBAL ASSEMBLY. The son of Kayf Tara wasn't at his best last time out, when finishing a remote third at Thurles, but he had posted two solid efforts in this sphere prior and may improve not just for the addition of first-time blinkers, but also dropping back in trip. Romeo Magico, who was on target at Limerick over the festive period, is feared most, while Neo King might prove to be best of the remainder.
