The Adrian McGuinness trained LAUGH A MINUTE (best priced at 4/1) bids for a hat-trick of wins in this race and has had the same prep at Dundalk a month ago to put him spot for this. The nine-year-old won this race off a mark of 95 in 2022 having finished 6th in his prep run before winning this race last year off a mark of 88 having finished 7th in his prep run.
Laugh A Minute runs here off a mark of 95 this year following some good performances last season and he once again finished 7th in his prep run last time. Regular rider Adam Caffrey takes off a handy 5lbs for the first time in this race and he looks sure to run well once again.

The favourite Ruler Of The River looks vulnerable under a 7lb penalty and preference instead goes to OUR PINK LADY (best priced at 2/1) who once again gets the assistance of Harry Cobden.
The James Owen trained six-year-old had previously finished 3rd in a mares’ novices’ handicap hurdle at Fakenham in December but improved for 76 days off the track when winning over this course and distance a fortnight ago.
Our Pink Lady stayed on strongly under Harry Cobden (1/1 on her) that day to win by 4 ¾ lengths and she should hold strong claims off only a 5lb higher mark.

Pallas Lord failed in his attempt at a four-timer here last time and it looks worth backing BIG NARSTIE (best priced at 3/1) to complete a hat-trick of wins this month.
The Mick Appleby trained six-year-old has been in consistently good form since the start of the year with form figures of 21232311 in 2024. The gelding won over a mile here on his penultimate start off a mark of 53 by 1 ¾ lengths before following up at Southwell last time under a 5lb penalty by the same winning distance over 7f.
Big Narstie once again runs here under a 5lb penalty off his revised mark so he is only 5lbs higher and he should hold strong claims over 7f back at this course.
