Dr Kananga bumped into a progressive subsequent winner when second at Catterick and, off an unchanged mark, he can give the selection most to think about. Mumbo Jumbo's rating continues to fall and he cannot be overlooked.

SAILING GRACE has shown more than enough ability to suggest that she can stamp her authority on a race of this nature. After pulling up with a legitimate excuse over 2m at Hereford in January last year, she can make her handicapping debut a winning one on her comeback. Only Fools won't have punters rushing in to support her on the back of her lacklustre effort at Plumpton, but she could easily bounce back. Callin Baton Rouge kept on into a modest fourth over 2m at Plumpton and, even off 1lb lower, the suspicion is the handicapper remains in charge.

MOLTO BENE proved that her 50/1 Warwick third was no fluke when making a successful beginning to her handicap career at Plumpton. Lilly Pinchin clearly gets a good tune out of the Charlie Longsdon-trained mare and they can follow up off a 6lb higher mark. Mumbles revels in the mud and has held his form well this campaign. He is 4lb higher than when turned over at a short price at Ffos Las, though, so Sangiovese might be the bigger threat.

MISTER MURCHAN isn't getting any younger, but proved he retains plenty of enthusiasm when touched off by an unexposed novice of Venetia Williams' at Lingfield and the drop from 2m6f shouldn't inconvenience him too much. Ideallko is almost half his age and went some way to putting a Sedgefield tumble behind him when just denied at Doncaster. He is the logical danger, although Staar attracted market support prior to his chasing debut so could atone for that Bangor fall.

TWP STORI is gradually edging closer to the winner's enclosure, coming within a neck of success at Lingfield. He stuck to his guns when upped to 2m7f, so there is more likely to come as he goes even further, and his improvement has come on heavy going. Fortuitous Favour should also relish this stamina test, judging by the way she stayed on into third over an extended 3m at Southwell. Conditions might not be in Hello Sunshine's favour, but she should at least be more at home here than in the Kempton class 4 she returned in.
