This looks a good opportunity for JUBILEE EXPRESS to open his account over fences. He has only had 3 starts in this sphere and ran his best race to date beaten just a length at Lingfield last month. He lacked fluency over his obstacles so if jumping a bit slicker here should go one better as the front pair pulled 16 lengths clear from the rest who were well strung out. He is still unexposed and gallops all day so there shouldn't be any excuses. O’connell impressed winning readily at Market Rasen back in December but has been expensive to follow since. Looks the danger but might need more on that Carlisle form.

I’m keen to side with UPEPO here for Tony Carroll. This son of Roaring Lion was denied the hat-trick at Wolverhampton back in January but was only beaten half a length. He improved again in defeat going down just a length last time and that form has already been franked with the runner-up Melek Alreeh winning next time out beating another improver. The form is stacking up and he runs off the same mark so I’m expecting him to be popular in the betting. My Chiquita has won her last two over hurdles and back on the Flat could emerge as the main danger. Caldwell can be tricky but is definitely another one with a squeak.
