That was a big run in defeat from CANNOCK PARK at Kelso last time. He only went down 2 lengths at the line and the winner Personal Ambition and runner-up Jango Baie both look nice types so I expect the form to work out in time. He sets a decent standard back in a novice and should get back to winning ways now. Goodwin impressed opening his account over hurdles at Plumpton and then wasn’t disgraced when third at Kempton last time. Freshened up since he looks the danger. Lario is interesting now with Harry Derham and is another one to note.

There was lots to like about the way THE FAMOUS FIVE opened his account at Leicester when last seen. He was well backed on that occasion and stayed on well to win with a fair bit in hand. That was just his second start in a handicap so he remains unexposed and up just 5lb looks well placed to follow up. What a Johnny showed a good attitude to prevail at Stratford but could only manage third at Sedgefield last time so will need to better that to emerge as the danger. Professor Klump got off the mark at Carlisle and might be a bigger danger but El Jefe is another one who should get competitive as well.
