With Dan and Harry Skelton continuing to fire in the winners KOUROSH must be of strong interest here. This horse created a big impression winning impressively on debut at Wetherby and is better than what he has been able to show the last twice. He fell at Cheltenham when beat and then faded in the closing stages at Chepstow having done too much early on. Given time since he is open to plenty more improvement yet and I think he can get back to winning ways. There is quite a lot of pace on here and that should help him settle. The danger looks to be Royal Way for Gary Moore as he is chasing a hat-trick and has decent form in the book.

With a run under his belt I’m expecting DARK VIPER to be hard to beat here. He shaped with plenty of promise when runner-up at the Curragh earlier in the week and turned out quickly off the same mark should have a decent chance with Shane Foley getting the leg up. Arizona Desert showed a good attitude to prevail at Leicester last year but then blew out at Newcastle. She has changed yards since and could run well but should do better for the run. Apollo Prince also has to defy an absence but is another one who should do better with time and experience.
