Andy Holding is back with two tips from today's horse racing action.

MY FRIEND SEAN (best price 15-8) may not have landed a well-orchestrated punt on handicap debut at Doncaster last time out but he left the impression there would be plenty of other opportunities for him further down the line and today’s contest looks as good as any to back up that theory.
Having made three inauspicious attempts in maiden hurdles, it was somewhat of a surprise to see the amount of money in his direction on Town Moor a month ago, but it soon became apparent he was a different horse to the one we’d seen languishing at the back of the field previously. Having led from the fourth, Tom Lacey’s inmate was still at the head of affairs and travelling well on the approach to three out and although he eventually succumbed to the late flourish of a couple of his main rivals, he still kept on well to finish a creditable third.
Shaping as though the soft ground was partly to blame for his demise, today’s better surface should turn out to be more favourable and hailing from a yard still in a rich vein of form, the lightly-raced five-year-old can reward those who seemingly knew the price of fish with him last time.

GINGERBEAD (best price 5-2) is by no means a prolific winner but he does tend to go well at today’s track and following two runs in victory and defeat, he arrives at his old stomping ground in the sort of form that can initiate another success.
A game winner at Ffos las two starts ago, the six-year-old chestnut was a well-backed favourite to repeat the dose at Wincanton a month later and although he failed to contain course specialist No Hubs No Hoobs, his performance in chasing home the winner had its merit.
Tapped for toe early in the run for the judge, the son of Universal left the impression he would have been seen to better effect with a stiffer test given the way he finished off his race after the last and with today’s course and ground offering the sort of examination he requires, he rates a strong choice to get the better of a couple of recent winners.
