The way COPPER COVE won over C&D on penultimate start was impressive and while he was beat off a 7lb higher mark at Lingfield last time he certainly wasn’t disgraced. He is a big player off the same mark and I’m keen to keep him on side. His second to Classic Maestro looks a strong piece of form too so it is all stacking up. Hatos is another one in good form having won at Ffos Las and Wincanton before finishing second at Leicester. He looks the obvious danger and should run well. Dreaming Blue also respected but might need a bit more help from the handicapper.

With recent form figures of 1611122 it is fairly easy to see why I’m keen on TRADESMAN getting back in the winners enclosure here. He has been progressive since going up in trip and freshened up clocked some eye-catching closing sectionals when second to The Craftymaster over 2 miles here last time. He drops back in trip slightly here but I think this is his optimum if they go a good gallop and as long as this doesn’t turn tactical he should be the one coming home best. Artisan Dancer should appreciate stepping back up to this trip and looks the biggest danger.
