Blue Point colt ZIGGY’S MISSILE could easily be coming here eyeing up a four-timer as he was only just denied a head at Newcastle last time. He has been progressing well and despite a further 3lb rise looks the one to beat. His win over C&D on penultimate start was pretty impressive and with SDS booked I’m confident he is the one to beat. Moonstone Boy finally made the breakthrough here last time and could be the danger now he knows how to win. Ashwiyaa bounced back to win on penultimate start but was held on final start and is with a new yard now. Needs to improve but also has a squeak.

With 2 wins from his last 3 it is hard to look past MUMBLES here. He wandered about in front at Fontwell last time but was always finding enough and the second Sangiovese is a decent yardstick so the form is solid in the context of this race. He is up another 4lb but likely still has more in the locker if called upon and gets my vote. Smart Casual was brought down here last time and was still going well so if bouncing back will definitely be the danger. Mac’s Legacy ran a cracker on penultimate start and if returning to that form is another one that could get competitive at least.
