The only last time out winner in the field HOSTILE HOTELIER should have a great chance of following up here. Back over hurdles he made no mistake running on well to prevail over 2 and a half miles at this track last month. He handled the testing conditions and the front 3 in that race came miles clear. He travelled well into it and found more than enough off the bridle to get his head in front. He steps up to 3 miles and if seeing it out should find himself in the winners enclosure once more. Innisfree Lass hacked up over C&D before going down just a neck last time and looks the danger but don’t rule out Wild Side Of Life either with Cobden booked.

I was with ACES WILD over C&D last month and he made no mistake cutting through the pack to win in good style. He had looked unlucky prior to that so certainly wasn’t winning out of turn. That visual impression has been backed up by the clock too so with the promise of more to come I think he is up to defying a 4lb rise in the weights. Stroxx finally got his head in front at Chelmsford last month and could be the danger but he wouldn’t be a certainty to back that up. Spanish Angel has been dropped another 2lb after finishing fourth last time and is another one who has a chance at this lowly grade.
