Back from a lengthy layoff I was really impressed with the way AEROSPACE made all at Wolverhampton last month. That was his debut for Archie Watson and with more to come now sent handicapping I expect him to follow up against these. Hollie Doyle gets the leg up and with the step back up to a mile and a quarter firmly in his favour he looks the one to be on. Westernesse probably needed the run when a good third over C&D last month and would be the obvious danger if managing to build on that. Loyal Touch prevailed narrowly over track and trip last time and is another one to note in a decent race for the grade.

Visually I was quite impressed with ROBBER’S BRIDGE winning here last time and given the runner-up Hawk Stone has come out and won since the form has been franked too. He has gone up 6lb for that but likely remains ahead of the handicapper for now and he will also appreciate stepping back up in trip. Moytier bolted up on penultimate start and is better than what he showed when third last time so could emerge as the danger. Only Fools is a likeable mare and given her win at Fontwell and good second last time she is another one coming here in form so should get competitive at least.
