I’m keen to chance AKKADIAN THUNDER coming out on top here. This good looking chestnut shaped with promise on debut and then improved to open his account over a mile at Kempton. He was turned over at cramped odds at Newcastle on final start but I think that race may have come too soon and he was put away after. He has since switched yards and now with David O’Meara could easily have more to offer on handicap debut. He is the most unexposed horse in the yard and should go close under Danny Tudhope. King Of York won on penultimate start but then failed to land the gamble last time. He is still respected but likely needs more off his current mark.
