I was with the good looking JUNGLE CHARM last week and I see no reason to abandon her here as long as she handles the quick turnaround. She picked up well and was always finding enough to prevail over C&D 6 days ago and seeing as that was an apprentice event she escapes a penalty. She has won 2 of her last 3 and is open to further improvement so is expected to justify favouritism. Mick’s Spirit is obviously exposed in comparison but he loves this track having won 6 times here and could be the danger despite a below par run at Chelmsford last month.

The hat-trick seeking SILVER TRUMPET looks the one to side with again here. He shaped with promise on handicap debut going down just a length and then improved to open his account over C&D back in February. Again he showed a good attitude to get the better of the argument at Southwell and back at this venue he looks worth keeping on side despite a 4lb rise. Eve Johnson Houghton is in red-hot form having saddled 3 winners from her last 7 runners so there is lots to like. Von Baer has been a big drifter this morning so may need the run. That could leave Berkshire Nugget as the danger.
