I know things didn’t really work out for THE MIDWIFE at Taunton last time but her win over C&D prior to that was promising and she remains unexposed. Back at this venue if she bounces back I think she looks decent value in an open race. She runs off the same mark as last time and Joe Anderson is good value for his 5lb claim. She was given a lot to do over track and trip on penultimate start so don’t be surprised if they ride her fairly quiet again as she will try and pick up the pieces late. Desperado was a good second beaten just half a length over C&D 3 weeks ago and if building on that is the obvious danger. Mr Hope Street goes up in trip and is another one in with a squeak.
