Hallasan

First on the list is the unraced Godolphin two-year-old HALLASAN. This son of Pinatubo has been well backed into 5/4 after opening up around 2/1. Trainer Charlie Appleby is operating at a 46% strike rate in the last two weeks but Hallasan is his first juvenile runner of the entire season.

His dam Fig Roll was a listed winner at Newmarket over 6f so he should have enough speed for the minimum trip. He is the choice of William Buick and has market support behind him (5/6 best price on BetMGM at the time of writing).

Broadway Act

The second horse on the list represents the same connections as Hallasan as Appleby and Buick hunt a strong opening to the Craven meeting at HQ. This time it's with BROADWAY ACT who has never raced away from Newmarket in his four runs as a juvenile.

In that time, he won a maiden and was last seen finishing 3rd in a nursery in October. He's been gelded since then and steps up to the mile trip.

A course winner whose trainer is operating at a 46% strike rate, he holds every chance and has been backed into a best price of 9/4 on William Hill.

Bold Style

Another race and another well backed Godolphin horse for Appleby and Buick. This time it comes in the shape of BOLD STYLE in the three-year-old Conditions Stakes.

This son of Shamardal wasn't seen until November in his Juvenile campaign when he finished a 2 length 2nd at Wolverhampton. He was sent off 11/8 that day and was equally well backed to win next time out at Chelmsford at 11/10. He won easily that day and the 3rd, Ville Natale, has since come out and won to boost the form.

He hasn't been seen since and returns here with his trainer banging in the winners. He has been well backed (3/1 on bet365) and will go close.
