The Decorated Knight gelding was pulled up in the 'Boodles' at Cheltenham last time having been badly hampered and a line can be drawn through that run. He had run well previously when third to Ndaawi at Naas and a reproduction of that form may be enough now. Mordor was brought down by that fall of Karia Des Blaises at Cheltenham and is another who should be a big player back in maiden company. He was third on his hurdling debut at Leopardstown over Christmas but was behind the selection in Punchestown subsequently. Henry de Bromhead's newcomer Love Me, a French import by Ectot, is one to note in the market.

ERNIE FROM NURNEY put things together when opening his account at Naas just over two weeks ago and may be able to follow up with that win under his belt. The Dylan Thomas gelding had some promising runs before winning in good style last time and a 6lb rise doesn't look harsh. Jay Pee M has been knocking on the door and despite creeping up the handicap as a result he's entitled to play a big role again. Noble Crusade has won twice on the all-weather recently and could be on a nice mark over timber but the ground would be a concern.

There was only half a length between DRISCOLLS HILL and Lough Owel at the line in Cork at the start of the month and the former is fancied to confirm form. Tom Gibney's charge was still a bit green in the straight then and was untidy at the last couple of flights. He stuck to his task well to get back up for second then behind easy winner Arion Soldier. Lough Owel is obviously a big player again with Jack Kennedy taking the mount now. Rokathir was well beaten when fourth in a maiden hurdle at Leopardstown on his 'track' debut but the point-to-point winner may get a bit closer now stepping up to three miles.

COSMO RENFRO has been knocking on the door and would be a deserved winner here. The Arctic Cosmos gelding has bumped into highly progressive mare Aodhan May twice this year, including when getting within half a length of her over slightly further here eight days ago. He went up 3lb for that but is fancied to strike again here, having won over three miles at the track in November. Knockbrack Rambler opened his account over two-and-a-half at Cork last month and that form looks solid with the runner-up Shana Cloon finishing second again at Naas on Tuesday. Bonnie Kellie is probably a better mare over fences but has to be respected off this kind of mark over the smaller obstacles.

This looks like a nice opportunity for FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU. He was a faller in the Irish National on his last start when looking well beaten and this small field event could be a nice confidence booster. The Saddler Maker gelding was a Grade 2 winner at Punchestown back in November and has kept good company since. At the weights, Joyeux Machin is the obvious danger. He's another Saddler Maker gelding and was pulled up over hurdles when last seen at the Dublin Racing Festival. He had been no match for Lucid Dreams in a rated novice chase before that but had been in good form around Wexford prior to that and is a capable sort at his best. Donacheady Gale could prove best of the remainder.

SUNNYVILLA had run with credit in a couple of strong contests before scoring at Cork at the start of the month and may be able to follow up now. The Mustameet gelding was given a good ride from the front by Gavin Brouder last time and is just 4lb higher now. Mcgrath From Clune was runner-up on his return to chasing at Thurles last time and is just a pound higher now so has to be on the shortlist. Dundaniel was getting closer when brought down two from home over course and distance last month and title chasing Jack Kennedy is an eye-catching booking now for his brother Michael.

BALLYGUNNER CASTLE was an eye-catching third on his debut run at Thurles in mid-February and should prove hard to beat now. The Soldier Of Fortune gelding stayed on nicely behind stablemate Coco Masterpiece that day and looked like he would only improve from the experience. The form looks strong with the runner-up, Fishery Lane, going on to finish fifth at Cheltenham. Olympy De Cerisy chased home a Willie Mullins-trained horse, in Cantico, at Navan last time and it could be a similar story for Declan Queally's charge, who is fitted with a tongue-tie and hood for the first time. Pat Foley's newcomer Jericho Du Fenoir is one to note in the market. The five-year-old cost €65,000 as a store a couple of years ago and is a half-brother to Champion Hurdler Espoir D'allen.
