The drop in grade did the trick for HAITI COULEURS at Chepstow last time as he ran out an impressive 18-length winner. He was always in his comfort zone that day and came clear in good style from a well strung out field. This will be tougher carrying a penalty back in novice company but he has potential to do better especially over this trip and I think he’ll be the one to beat. Grand Albert won in good style at this track a month ago and up in trip could be the danger but will need to improve again. Heros De Romay also still has potential but does need to bounce back to have a squeak.

I’m surprised RELIEF RALLY is as big as 3/1 here as I’m confident she is the one to beat. She was impressive as a 2yo winning 4 of her 5 starts and hit the line hard up to 6f for the first time on final start. She goes up another furlong for her reappearance and looks a good bet to complete the hat-trick. Regal Jubilee blew out on debut but bounced back to win her next two and is clearly a nice prospect as well so should be the danger. Not just a two horse race though as Folgaria brings unknown potential to the table and if progressing again could run well. Topanga impressed me at Kempton but might be a longer term project.
