There was lots to like about that hurdles debut from GOLDEN MOVE. He did well on the Flat and shaped with encouragement to finish third at Taunton when last seen back in February. He was sent off a short priced favourite but just looked like he’d do better for the outing and a peck 2 out didn’t held either. He will improve and should be the one to beat. Manuelito also needed the experience when third on hurdles debut and improved to finish second last time so with more to come is the danger. Of the rest I’m Ravenous caught the eye before making a bad mistake when fourth at Newbury and can come on for that as well.

I’m keen to chance DO IT NOW here off the back of that promising run on debut. He only went down half a length at Kempton and the front pair were some 4 lengths clear from the rest. I think he’ll come on a fair bit from that initial effort and looks well placed to go one better. Anthropologist is well related and also made a pleasing start finishing third on debut. If he improves again he will be the main danger to the selection. Winchurch obviously impressed winning on debut but it is never easy carrying a penalty and that might make him vulnerable. Barrak is the most interesting of the debutants but he’ll likely need the experience.
