There was lots to like about the way SHELBOURNE got on top to open his account at Catterick last time. He ran on strongly at the line to win comfortably and a 6lb rise shouldn’t be enough to stop him following up. This stiff finish should be ideal and he looks the most likely winner. Auric improved from his debut run to win by a head at Kempton last time and will be the danger now switching to handicap company. Mesaafi left previous runs behind following a gelding operation to finish third at Kempton and is another one likely to take a step forward now sent handicapping.
